Is Programmatic Problematic? – A US Perspective
9:15am - 9:50am

Speakers:
Autumn White, EVP of Digital, Managing Partner, Horizon Media

In this session, we’ll hear Autumn provide a landscape view on how all media (digital, audio, TV and ooh) is undergoing a massive shift towards Programmatic.

In the US, the marketplace is honing in on programmatic guarantees and private marketplaces – and to deliver this well, data is central.

Autumn discusses the issues revolving around Fraud/Brand Safety/Quality/Viewability/Messaging and the relevance of GPDR to the New Zealand / Australian marketplaces.

Keynote: Where is the TRUST? - Programmatic is now the default setting for our industry, but how can we overcome our trust issues?
09.50am - 10.25am

Speakers:
Ricky Chanana, Managing Director, AUNZ, Unruly

Programmatic is here to stay, but with brand safety scares, miscalculated metrics, fraud issues and consumer data concerns to name a few, there are still some big hurdles to get past before we can move forward. In this session video ad tech platform Unruly will explore these issues and discuss how challenging the status quo will restore trust and unlock the true potential of programmatic.

Coffee Break
10:25am - 10.55am

Time for some much needed caffeine and some more stellar networking

Keynote: The future of Programmatic in a connected world
10:55am - 11:20am

Speakers:
Stephanie Famolaro, Director of Agency API Sales, APAC, The Trade Desk

Internet has grown exponentially in the last few years. Thanks to smart devices - which have become a vital part of our daily lives - everything is now on our fingertips. Learn from Stephanie Famolaro, APAC Director of Agency API Sales at The Trade Desk, what does this change in the digital growth mean for the advertising industry? How exactly can technology improve key aspects of our lives and businesses and what does the future hold?

Keynote: Flying-High with Programmatic
11:20am - 11:45am

Speakers:
Anthony Ord, Media Director, Acquire Online

Are you the pilot, co-pilot or just a passenger on your programmatic plane?

Taking the controls of a programmatic flight deck can be a daunting prospect, but a little planning will make you look like a Chesley Sullenberger. And, just because we all can get the keys to advanced ad-tech, there’s still a steep learning curve and some key decisions to make – enter the spectrum of programmatic flight control. Do you want your Brand Managers to be programmatic super-pilots, or do you prefer to engage a team of co-pilots that are going to deliver flight safety, full transparency, data security as well as future-proofing your programmatic capability across digital, connected TV and OOH channels in the near future.

Firstly, Captain Anthony will be taking you through the pre-flight-plan for programmatic…how ready is the NZ media market for programmatic flying?

Secondly, Captain Zane will give in-flight information so you can generate the campaign thrust to reach your destination, including:

- Brand safety checks & verification tools,
- Guidance on the buying engines,
- Flight personnel essential for in-flight ad operations,
- Survival instructions in the event of a crash.

At the end of the day, some brands care about the service, safety and in-flight entertainment while some brands just want to get there on the lowest-cost “Aeroflot”.

What kind of programmatic Brand traveller will you be?

Media Owner Panel
11:45am - 12:10pm

Moderator:
Ricky Chanana, Managing Director, AUNZ, Unruly
Speakers:

Melanie Gielen, Head of Digital Ad Operations and Data Monetisation, Mediaworks, Mediaworks
